Welcome to Bitslog.
When I first read Bitcoin paper I rushed to analyze its source code. I got fascinated for its simplicity. But also I found many things for improvement, both in the economic, cryptographic and protocol related areas. I found that Bitcoin performance could be boosted 10x with little protocol changes. I can also be redesigned to withstand 1000 tps (transactions per second) with today’s home PC technology but sacrificing more anonymity. I realized that changing Bitcoin as it is now, with the difficulty of a massive upgrade, would be very hard. A system designed from scratch would be a lot easier to deploy. The purpose of this blog is twofold: provide clues for Bitcoin improvement and build the infrastructure for a new (better) digital peer-to-peer coin. I believe in a future where multiple crypto-currencies live together as an ecosystem.
I hope you enjoy redesigning Bitcoin as I do.

Hi, I would love to provide some input. I’m an academic economist with my own ideas for improving bitcoin. Discussion with a programming expert could be very fruitful. Speeding up txns sounds like a great improvement.
