We’re crossing the middle of 2021. This year promises to be one of the most exciting years in crypto since I learnt about Bitcoin in 2012. Just yesterday, a country declared Bitcoin legal tender! Yet this year will probably be remembered as one of the saddest years in this decades because of Covid19. Yet Covid19 didn’t stop me from researching, coding and collaborating with the RSK community to improve the RSK Bitcoin sidechain during day and night.
Me in March 2020. Very little was known about Covid19 back then.
During the pandemic I wrote 27 RSK Improvement proposals totaling 111 technical specifications! That’s so many documents that once I wrote a proposal twice because I didn’t remember I had already written it years before. I also wrote more than 20 articles about RSK, sidechains, merge-mining and blockchain scaling. However, most of this content was spread over different third party blogs, including IOV Labs RSK Blog and IOV Research Labs News site. But Bitslog was the blog that started this journey in crypto, the wick that lit my passion to share Bitcoin and blockchain design ideas. But during these last 2 years I left Bitslog unattended. While in 2013 I posted more than 20 articles, I didn’t post anything in 2021.
To compensate, I decided that I should consolidate all the articles that I have written in the past 2 years in a single place, and therefore I will be re-posting old content in this blog. If you have already read them, then you may skip them. If you haven’t read them, this is your chance to do it.
